| The long standing rivalry between the Fatcats and the Troglies heated up last night during regular season play. Several key players returned to the line up including Dave Palmer who has recovered from an upper body injury, and Agent .09, Ryan Teal who returned from his most recent top secret mission. Unfortunately, Teal parachuted in without his spy gadgetry, and was unable break into the Cat's dressing room until the end of the first period. Joggers opened the scoring in the second period with a spectacular effort but the Troglies quickly responded with two goals of their own. It was not until the mid point of the third the the Cats evened the score on a goal by Palmer. The Cats and Troglies returned to overtime once again but game concluded in a 2-2 draw. Goaltender Nicholas Rizzuti was solid in net turning aside 39 of 41 shots. |
