A New Father Shines

After a few weeks of being short benched, the Fatcats came out in large numbers tonight to face the Ex-Troggery. The Cats drew first blood in the first period with a goal by Sal, riding high after celebrating his first ever father's day. They continued to press in the second period and notched goal number two, top shelf, off a cross-ice feed from Spence to Sal. With the action heating up in the 3rd, the Ex-Troggery found the back of the net late in the game with power play goal to cut the lead in half. Despite their best effort, the Ex-Troggery remained behind and opted to pull their goalie, however Grant Spence sprung loose and chipped in an easy goal for a final score of 3 to 1.
