Dressin' With Joggers - 2008-06-18

Dear Joggers, I understand you have many years experience wearing joggers (unlike the rest of us who stopped in grade 5). What makes a good pair of joggers? #1 Fan Dear #1 Fan, This is by far the most common question I get asked. While there can be many characteristics of a good pair of joggers, first and foremost is the elastic ankles. The ankles need to be tight enough to keep them snug around the ankles, but not too tight - don't want to cut-off any circulation! Moving up from there, a loose fitting fabric that provides warmth in the winter, yet is cool enough to wear in the summer, is important. You don't want to have to change game gear just because of a change in season. Pockets are convenient to have, especially if you don't have a jacket. You've got to have somewhere to put the cellphone, in case you get that last second call for beverages. Finally, the age-old debate of elastic waistband with drawstrings or elastic waistband with no drawstrings. This last one is a matter of personal preference. I myself have a number both styles. I suggest trying both until you feel comfortable. Joggers.
