Cats - let's just say it wasn't pretty. We experimented with a new strategy dubbed the "Torpedo Defence" which has ALL 3 D-men in our line-up rushing at once, which is quite interesting to watch considering one of them is on the bench at the time. Not surprisingly, this approach left our blue line a bit exposed and the Hungarians got plenty of opportunities to score. Unfortunately for them, we have a tender who wears 3 championship rings under his catching glove and had no trouble turning away the Moose's advances.
Yes - Joggers returned and brought with him some fierce fore-checking as always, however it was the tenacity of Nicholson and slick stick-handling of Carty that had the fans on their feet throughout the match! .....oh, and let's not forget Palmer's power play efforts with 5 uncontested slap shots in a row aimed directly at the head of the Webster sized goalie.....priceless.
Bottom line - Cats WIN. We are officially on a winning streak and appear to be gelling (again....for the 100th time)!

P.S. In times of economical uncertainly, isn't it refreshing to know that Joggers is reproducing and bringing some joy to the world around us? ahhh...yes.......Joggers. |
