Hey Boyz,
Let me just make a few further points to clear the air. In regards to Craiger's email I would suggest that we would give up some pucks and water bottles for a shot blocking expert like the Moose. Furthermore, when did anyone in 'D' hockey get a team bus because I would play for that team for sure.
If I really wanted to play with another team I would. I am quite happy with the Fat Cats and have enjoyed getting a chance to meet and hangout with people I never would have met otherwise. In regards to the various skill levels that comprise our team it is a issue we have to deal with. If we are going to try and balance ice time then we should also balance lines to make sure everyone has a chance to play both offence and defence. The 5 defencemen thing doesn't happen often and isn't really an issue but come playoff time our team is better off with 3 or 4 (I have also said all along that every team makes the playoffs so losing 8 to 0 doesn't mean a thing, but that does not mean we can't learn from it and play better because of it!!!).
The bottom line is that we have a good group of guys and a championship streak going. However, we do not play smart hockey and we don't have the most talented team in 'D' or any league or level. Thus, to keep our winning streak alive we need to build towards the playoffs and that includes sending emails out to each other and talking after the game.
And as far as personal skill level goes I can only speak for myself and as far as I am concerned it has been well over a year since I played a really good game. Regardless, of anyone's individual skill level we can be better as a team (except for Furlong who needs to get off suicide watch and start playing better - just kidding bud please don't hurt yourself!!!).
Joggers, your number one in everyone's heart and I'm the biggest asshole on the team. This way everyone's happy.
